In the first decade of the Silicon Valley story, there were maybe two or three impactful companies. In the second decade, there were maybe a half dozen. In the third decade, there were maybe a dozen. Now in the sixth decade, there might be a hundred. The Silicon Valley model has a multiplicative effect that results in ever more innovation, capital formation, wealth and growth.
